The basics

Pluck is a document scanning app made by Lonely Star Software, Inc. By downloading or using Pluck, you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard End User License Agreement, which is available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

Subscription terms (Pluck Pro)

Pluck Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription.

Pricing. $3.00 USD per month or $20.00 USD per year (prices may vary by region; your local price is shown in the App Store before you subscribe).
Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Payment. Charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Cancellation. Manage and cancel from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. You'll keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
Free trials, if offered, will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Refunds. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What Pluck Pro unlocks

Pro subscribers get AI extraction on every scan, multi-page documents, smart actions (create contact, reminder, calendar event), and cross-device sync via iCloud. The free tier includes a starting credit so you can try the full experience.

Acceptable use

Pluck is intended for personal and professional document scanning. Don't use it to violate laws, infringe on copyrights, or scan documents you don't have the right to access. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that misuse the service, though most issues are handled by Apple's review processes since we don't operate user accounts.

AI extraction disclaimer

AI extraction is best-effort. It can misread numbers, dates, and addresses, especially on low-quality scans. Always verify critical information (especially financial, legal, and medical details) before acting on it. Pluck and its providers are not liable for losses resulting from incorrect extraction.

Limitation of liability

Pluck is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lonely Star Software, Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Significant changes will be announced in the app and on this page; the "last updated" date will reflect the change.
